A SLEEPLESS NIGHT
A Sleepless Night is a social issue campaign that is created for the people to experience Insomnia at an exhibit. This experience is to inform people about what Insomnia is and why they should be aware of it. It is also a reminder to people about the importance of Sleep.

Sleep is a necessity for humans to survive and a continuous lack of sleep can be really torturous over time. If you don’t get enough sleep the chances are you won’t be able to perform the best of your ability in your daily life. Sometimes, people don’t even realize that a few sleepless nights might cause you insomnia. The purpose of A Sleepless Night is to inform the audience about the importance of sleep and how no sleep can lead to progression of torture, which eventually might drive people insane.
This is a team work, where two graphic designers collaborated with an interior designer to create exhibit walls and the rooms in the exhibition. There are three rooms showing different levels of progression that can torture the audience due to the lack of sleep. Each room has been displayed as a normal bedroom setting with a bed, a window, curtains, and walls for the audience to get a complete experience of insomnia.
We have created designes by using White, Red, and Black (UV) lights in the three rooms respectively to display the growing level of torture that insomniacs might feel. The cracks on the walls signifies frustration and a feeling of being shattered due to lack of sleep. The words and tallies on the walls just keeps increasing the level of stress that one might feel when not getting enough sleep.

AWAKE.
TORTURE.
TRAPPED.

STRESS?
FRUSTRATION?
UNEASY?
ANNOYING?
ANXIOUS?
RESTLESS?
WORRIED?
UNSTABLE?
TRAPPED?
UNSETTLED?

Once the audience experience the rooms, they have an entrance to go through the information rooms which includes the history of torture, stories of people been through insomnia and much more.
