Branding and Packaging

BREWMEISTER BREWERY

Brewmeister is a Scottish beer brand known for its Snake Venom beer which contains about 67.5% of alcohol content. It is only brewed and sold in the United Kingdom. The brand also brews other beers with normal alcohol percentages.  The idea was to reinvent this brand by bringing in more of the Scottish culture and history to the designs.

Scotland is known for its rich culture and gorgeous landscapes with rugged  mountains, lively cities, plaid patterns, kilts and quaint shops. My concept was emerged from its traditional attire, colors, symbols, icons, and patterns that each signifies the history of Scotland.

The design gives a modern twist to the culture but also upholds Scotland's conventional values. The names of the beer are labeled after the symbol in Scotland’s banner flag, a top predator that lives in the mountains of Scotland, and a fearful wild animal. Every flavor of the beer defines a small part of Scottish culture.

The new logo of the brand is a Scottish Thistle flower shaped as a beer glass with an “X” on it signifying the Scottish flag symbol. The typeface of the beer names uses Celtic design, famous for jewelery in Scotland, which gives the beer a modern touch with a hint of traditional art.

With the wilderness and culture of Scotland combined, Brewmeister Brewery presents a modern plus traditional style focused new brand identity. A small brewery is getting ready to widen its horizons by being available to other countries outside of the United Kingdom.
